Security Policy Mobile Banking

Keep the Customer's confidential information when conducting banking transactions

The more advanced day by day for the development of existing technology. One of them is that Smartphone now offers convenience in managing Customer's daily finances, conducting fund transactions and completing Customer's daily needs, wherever Customer is and whenever need to do so.

Keep in mind that the Customer must remain careful in using the Smartphone, the Customer's mobile needs must remain safe to protect the Customer from identity theft or fraudulent transactions.

Here are simple ways that Customers can do to maintain the security of CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking:

  • It is mandatory for all CCB Customers to be able to download the CCB Mobile Banking application through official channels/portals, namely through the Play Store for Customers using Android Smartphones and App Store for Customers using Apple Smartphones.
  • Avoid downloading and installing CCB Mobile Banking applications outside of existing official channels/portals.
  • For security reasons, avoid downloading and installing applications outside the existing official channels / portals or suspicious applications on the Customer's Smartphone or tablet device.
  • Make sure that CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking application is updated.
  • Avoid using Wi-Fi internet connections in public areas and using VPN networks with untrusted sources when transacting online using CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking, if in an urgent situation make transactions using Wi-Fi networks that can be trusted security.
  • Always maintain the confidentiality of the access code that the Customer has as a security for CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking access.
  • If the Customer receives a suspicious SMS or email on behalf of CCB Indonesia, immediately contact the e-Channel Operation Help Desk to check the truth.
  • Beware of fraud attempts from individuals claiming to be CCB Indonesia officers via telephone, SMS or email asking for personal data including CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking Access Code and Password, because official CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking officers will not ask or ask about it.
  • If the Customer changes the Smartphone device, please make sure all data on the old device has run a factory reset so that all existing information will be deleted.
  • If the Customer's Smartphone is stolen or lost, immediately notify the Customer's telecommunications provider to block the number. Immediately change the online account password accessed via the Customer's Smartphone.
  • Always update the Customer's information on CCB Indonesia so that CCB Indonesia can directly contact when there is suspicious activity on the Customer's account.

If the Customer receives a message explaining that the CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking application / service that the Customer has is not valid, do not continue to access CCB Indonesia Mobile Banking services immediately contact the e-Channel Operation Help Desk at (021) 5663809 – (021)5668292.
